Covid-19 Shipping Update

First of all, thank you for continuing to support Spoonie Village. During these times a lot of our fundraising projects and the community events we planned have had to be put on the back burner for now. The shop is currently our only form of fundraising. Every single order means so much and we are truly grateful.
As you’re aware Covid-19 has made things very difficult for people with pre-existing conditions. As two people with disabilities/illness it has majorly impacted our personal lives, the support we once relied upon is no longer there, as such it means we are having to juggle a lot more than we normally would. Combined with needing to reduce risk of coming into contact with people, we are limiting the number of trips out to post things. This means posting your orders has had to slow considerably.
We know it’s not ideal but in order to keep getting things to you and to maintain our health we have had to make these changes and we really appreciate your support with us doing so.

When will my order be shipped?
The list of dates below show the days orders will be posted.
The shipping date for your order will depend on when your order is placed.
28th October 2020
11th November 2020
Shipping dates beyond this will be updated as needed and as the situation dictates
How long will it take to arrive?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a set timeframe for orders to arrive any longer. We use Royal Mail and send 2nd Class or standard international. However due to the demand put on the postal service during the pandemic, typical time frames no longer apply. Some orders are taking anything from a couple of days to up to 4 weeks to arrive within the UK.
Rest of the world
International orders are even harder to predict as once they leave the UK it is up to the individual countries to sort and deliver post. With varying restrictions across the globe it is impossible to set a predicted arrival rate.
We will continue to ship orders but we do ask for patience in receiving orders as once we have posted it is out of our hands and dependent upon the services to process and get it to you.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Yes! If you'd like to send a Spoonie Village order direct to somebody as a gift, just let us know in the 'Note to seller' box at the checkout, along with any message you'd like us to include for them. If you wish to do this, please make sure that you put the correct delivery address for your order before purchasing, since Spoonie Village will not be held liable for any gift orders sent to the wrong address.
